MPOX training of healthcare workers at MARPI, supported by WHO, aimed to strengthen local capacity for responding to the outbreak. The training covered key areas such as case identification, surveillance, risk communication, contact tracing, and vaccination strategies. It empowered MARPI healthcare workers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage Mpox cases, ensuring timely and coordinated responses to curb the spread of the virus in high-risk populations.
